Jan von Holleben
Jan Von Holleben's photographic work is based on his own personal experiences and memories of his childhood. He recreates experiences in an exciting and unique way that i think is quite quirky.
I like the birds-eye view that he uses to capture the image and make it look like the subject is flying through the air or running from a giant monster etc when in actual fact they are completely still.
Typography
These are the images of other peoples work I used to inspire me.
In this photo I like the way the fonts are different sizes and some parts stand out more than others, as well as how they wrap around the image and fill the frame.
I love the way the artist has incorporated both text and water colours, if i were to improve my piece i would use water colours too and try to create an image of something (maybe use the water colours to paint the face of the model) in a similar way that the artist has done here.
Typography
Here i used a black and white photograph i'd taken of a Storm model and used photoshop to enhance the colours, add different sized text and change the gradients to produce a matrix style image.
I used texts off of the internet that discuss 'beauty' to make stamps on photoshop that I could then stamp all over my blank page, the sizes of these stamps could be adjusted and the opacity altered.
At first I found photoshop difficult to use as I prefer to work with manual photography but after a while I began to understand the benefits of using photoshop and how innovative artwork can be created.
Although I don't think its my best work I enjoyed making this piece as I learnt something completely new and I think with practice I could improve a lot when using photoshop. In future I would try to make all the texts match up properly and in general make the image a lot more 'neat' as well as maybe experimenting more with using more than one image on top of each other or a background image.

Digital Photography - How I created a Lin Osborn inspired piece
How i created it on photoshop.
First i selected images from google to use, i then dragged these into photoshop where they collected on the left hand side.
I cropped these photos so that they were all squares and dragged them onto a blank page on the right hand side.
I then used to grid tool to make sure they were all evenly dispersed and the same size, a new layer was needed for each photograph (as shown below) so that i could resize each one.
In the future i will use my own images.
